There is no such thing as goodbye. Writing is addictive, same as reading. It could be that you ran out of inspiration now but not the ideas. Maybe it is time for you to try other things to gain back the inspiration. Because from where I am now, I feel the sadness. I want to speculate but I respect you the same way that I respect others.
God sees all of us and there is no big problem that is insurmountable when you call Him. The inspiration, He provides as well. See you, hopefully soon.
Pre, mukang time for me to share to you a story. Ang ofcmate ko eh namatayan ng anak, rare disease of the blood. Nwalan sya gana mgwork, ni hndi ngpakita sa min sa loob ng 2 mos. Npabyaan nya ang knyang work sa ofc at maliit na ngosyo sa bahay. Nung una naintindihan nmin, actually khit nung tumagal pa. Pero mraming consequence ang gnawa nya. May isang mlaki acct nwala sa min. Sya lng pnagtitiwalaan ng customer kya nung hndi sya ngpapakita sa ofc, ngtransfer sa competitor. Dhil dun, may 2 staff sya ang nwalan ng komisyon. Yung isa dun, pnapadala ang komisyon sa Bukidnon para pnggamot ng kpatid na may tb. Di lang yan. Yung kanyang computer shop npabayaan din. Yung isang empleyado nya naaksidente ang anak. Dhil wlang work, nhirapang humanap ng pmbayad sa hosp at hanggan dumami ang hosp bills. Ksi nwalan sya ng gana. Di ko snasabing la ka ryt mgrest for lack of ideas o inspiration. La nman kme pakelam kasi ktwan mo yan. Pero somehow, di mo ba naisip na bka mrami ngbabasa ng blog mo na nkakakuha ng inspiration sa cnusulat mo? Mlay mo may mga taong nkkarelate sa ilang cnusulat mo at nkakakuha indirectly ng solusyon sa probs nila. May captive audience ka eh. Ksi u write on any topic. O bka may taong nkaratay sa higaan ksi me sakit at nkakabawas ng inip nya yung pgbabasa ng blogs mo. I know this. Ksi last wk pgpunta ko sa pnsan kong nanganak, nirefer ko blog mo sa knya. Nsa hosp pa sya til now ksi ang anak nya eh premature and kailangan mgstay sila dun. She textd me last Sunday at sabi nya she reads your blog, wlang exag ha, mghapon. I guess dats the inspiration you are looking for. Don’t fail them.

I have been a regular of your blog since early this year when this was shared to me by a lawyer in our firm. He attended your MCLE lecture and he introduced your blog to me. In fact, it became a morning and afternoon ritual, aside from Facebook of course, LOL. Your long exodus for the greater part of this year made me just go back to your old posts. Some, I even downloaded as resource materials. When you came back from your leave, I was among those who got hooked and you did not fail us. The cases are more informative and the stories more fascinating.
No offense but I do not think that you ran out of ideas. This is not an attempt on BS, but you are among those versatile writers, able to write on anything. I am not surprised if someone gives you a topic and without breaking a sweat, you produce one in no time. I just think something’s off, that is what I think is the reason for you stopping all of a sudden.
My work requires me to do pleadings and all for the lawyers in the office. I can write all well too, but only on those related to my work. Kaya naman I envy people like you who seem to be effortless. If it is ideas you want, you can ask your readers for suggestions. Actually may utang ka pang topics sabi mo nga. But again, may I repeat that I don’t think that it is the ideas you lack.
Kung inspiration naman, let me put it this way. One paralegal suddenly takes her coffeebreak chitchatting non-sense with co-employees just because she is done with facebook and nothing else to do, then returns back to work without the usual mental calisthenics she gets from your articles. Can this be enough inspiration? Sir, please reconsider.

Mayroong dalawang isyu sa kasalukuyan kung bakit PAALAM ang ipinamagat sa artikulo na ito. Una, kakulangan ng IDEA, at Ikalawa, ang kakulangan ng inspirasyon.
Unang Isyu: Kakulangan ng IDEA
Ito ay hindi bihira para sa isang Palmer Mallari na magkaroon ng maluho at matalinong ideya. Hindi ko maisip na ikaw ay mawawalan ng mga ideya sapagka't para sa akin, ikaw ang tanging tao sa opisina na kung saan tayo ay nagtatrabaho na hindi kailanman mawawalan.
Ikalawang Isyu: Kakulangan ng inspirasyon
Ganyan din ang iyong mga "inspirasyon", lalo na isinasaalang-alang ang mga pangyayari na mga piraso ng ilang, maaaring hindi lahat, ng tapyas ng iyong buhay ay naghuhulma muling magkasama. Bakit hindi ito maging isang inspirasyon para sa iyo na magpatuloy sa blog na ito?
Ito ay regalo, mula sa may kapal, para sa mga tao na tulad mo na maaaring isulat at ipahayag ang mga saloobin at mga damdamin sa isang blog.
Ang blog na ito ay isang panitikan! Kaya sana ito ay iyong ipagpatuloy! :)
